Year 5 Litter Patrol

Year 5 Litter Patrol

Hello my name is Tobi Faleye, I am in class 5T and I am more than happy to do litter patrol. I decided to help because I wanted to be a helpful student and help the community out. I would like to say a thank you to Eshan Lakhani in 5T also because he offered to help me out and it is much quicker and easy for the job to be done with more pairs of hands. However, we are sure that we wont be needed for too much longer as all the pupils join us on the litter picking...

A very successful Ofsted!

We are delighted to receive an overall good outcome with some areas identified as outstanding in our recent (July 2017) Ofsted visit.  Personal development, behaviour and welfare was judged to be outstanding. The Ofsted team praised the students as ambassadors of the school and highlighted the pride they took in showing their work. They were impressed with the staff’s knowledge of individual pupils, their personalised needs and the support we provide the children with academically and emotionally.  They were particularly impressed with our record keeping and the care this enabled us to provide the children with. Please see report below. Fair Field Junior Ofsted...
£300 raised to support Grenfell families

£300 raised to support Grenfell families

A huge thank you to all of the parents and children who contributed to raising money to support the families and victims of the Grenfell Tower fire. We raised £300 which is fantastic! That money will go directly to support those who have been affected.

Choirs shine at the Radlett Festival

The school choirs of Fair Field and St John’s sang at the Radlett Festival on Sunday June 11th, along with Newberries and Bowmansgreen.  Fair Field sang ‘Little me’ and ‘The cup song’, and St John’s sang ‘Roar’ and ‘Lean on me’.  Both choirs were excellent and loved by the audience!  Fair Field lead the finale song ‘Thank you for the music’, and St John’s joined in for ‘You can’t stop the beat’, which featured Keira from Fair Field as a brilliant soloist.  The children from St John’s wowed the audience with their dancing along to this song, and we all had to repeat it as an encore, this time with the adults joining in.  It was a lovely concert and many people said that it was the highlight of the festival!
