This week, we welcomed Rev. Ollie to lead our school assembly. He spoke to the children about the meaning of Advent and the importance, for Christians, of taking time to prepare their hearts for Christmas.

During the assembly, he introduced the Advent ring, explaining the symbolism of each candle and how they help Christians mark the weeks leading up to Christmas. Together, we lit each candle in turn and learned about its meaning, including the theme of hope and the light it represents within the Christian faith.

It was a thoughtful and engaging introduction to Advent traditions, and we thank Rev. Ollie for sharing this special moment with the children.
