We are delighted to share that this week we received our official certificate for the Herts Shining Communication Award, recognising our school’s strong commitment to developing children’s communication, language and interaction skills.

This award celebrates the daily work taking place across our school to help children express themselves confidently, listen respectfully, and communicate clearly with one another. From high‑quality classroom talk and purposeful vocabulary teaching, to communication‑rich play and targeted support, this recognition reflects the dedication of our staff and the enthusiasm of our pupils.

Our school values shine through in this achievement. Children show kindness by supporting their peers, respect through thoughtful listening, inclusion by ensuring everyone has a voice, and perseverance as they grow and strengthen their communication skills.
