Today, Teal and Mint Class took part in Play Leader Training with Mr Rock, developing the skills and confidence needed to become positive role models during playtime.

Throughout the training, the children learnt a range of playground games and activities, as well as important leadership skills such as teamwork, communication, encouragement and fairness. They showed great enthusiasm and maturity as they practised leading activities and supporting others.

After half-term, the children will begin putting their new skills into practice. They will work through the Play Leader Level Challenges, helping to organise games, encourage participation and ensure that playtimes are active, inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.

We are very proud of all the children and look forward to seeing them take on their new responsibilities as Play Leaders in the weeks ahead.
