Year 6 Go back in time at the Lincolnsfield Centre

As part of their History topic, Year 6 enjoyed an exciting and immersive visit to the Lincolnsfields Centre, where they stepped back in time to experience what life was like in Britain during the 1940s.

The children took part in a lesson in a 1940s school, explored a wartime house, gained an insight into life in an air raid shelter and discovered fascinating artefacts in the museum. The hands-on experiences brought their learning to life, helping them to deepen their understanding of the challenges and experiences of people living during the Second World War.

It was a fantastic opportunity to make meaningful connections with their classroom learning, and the children thoroughly enjoyed their trip!
