Year 3 Learn How To Play The Recorder

This term, Year 3 have been learning how to play the recorder as part of the music curriculum. They have dived into the world of crotchets, minums, quavers and semi-quavers. They have also been trying to use rests too. It has been a joy to teach both the theoretical aspect of music and the practical aspect of playing the recorder. Our wonderful Year 3's have played the A, B and G notes. Eventually, when they were ready, they had the challenge of reading music and playing along with certain tunes. They have played alongside songs such as 'A is for Annie's Animals', 'G is for Gameboy George' and 'No More Animals, Annie'.

They sounded incredible, we're so proud of them.
